Early Life and Career
- Dhoni began his cricketing career at the age of eight when he joined the local club Ramakrishna Mission School's cricket team.
- In 1998, Dhoni attended the Central Coal Fields Limited (CCL) Cricket Academy in Ranchi, where he honed his skills under the guidance of Wendell Langer and Brian Lara.
After performing exceptionally well at the academy, Dhoni was selected to play for Bihar under-19 team. He eventually moved on to play for East Zone cricket team and made his first-class debut in 1999.
